I was born September 14, 1951 in Wilmington, Delaware. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in biology in 1973, I attended Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where I received my M.D. degree in 1977. I then returned to Wilmington to complete a three year residency in family practice at the Wilmington Medical Center. I then migrated to Hailey, Idaho in 1980 where I have practicing family practice and emergency medicine ever since.
I have three children and two grandchildren. Hobbies that I enjoy include water skiing and wake boarding, as well as golf in the summer months and skiing and snowboarding in the winter months.
Prior to medical school, I met my husband, Patrick, who is from a small town in Colorado , and saw the Rocky Mountains for the first time. After graduating from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (AKA Rutgers ) in New Jersey in 1993, we made plans to return to the mountain West. I completed my family practice residency at the McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden , Utah in 1996. I joined the Hailey Medical Clinic in July of 1996 and have lived happily in the Wood River Valley since then. I have a 7 year old daughter, Samantha, and the whole family enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and skiing whenever we can. My professional practice has an interest in Women's Health, Obstetrics and Pediatrics.
